Co-creating solutions. Delivering impact for a better world.

I'm Christine Bruijn Mulder. I connect people, knowledge and innovation for sustainable development, and I've done it from inside academia, local government and business.

What organisations bring me in for

Pick the situation closest to yours. Each one shows what I deliver and where I've done it before.

  1. I deliver Structured, results-driven and human-centred project management.

In INGENIUM I started from a fairly abstract project proposal and, together with colleagues from nine European universities, turned it into policy, educational materials and a wide range of activities.

Where the sectors overlap

No single organisation can solve today's societal challenges alone. Funding agencies increasingly recognise this, and multidisciplinary partnerships have become essential for national and European funding. Select a part of the model to see how I've worked there.

Academia

Nine years inside higher education

As an Innovation Advisor I help researchers get more societal impact from their work through technology transfer. Sometimes that means a startup, sometimes a collaboration with a municipality or a company. I help them validate the innovation and I act as a knowledge broker, connecting them with the right partners.

I work closely with the regional innovation ecosystem, including the science park, the Industrial Development Center and partners in West Sweden such as Chalmers University of Technology. Several successful grant applications came directly out of this matchmaking.

Who I am

People often describe me as a strategic doer: someone who turns regional, national and European policy into practical projects and results you can point to.

I'm energetic and solution-oriented, and I tend to look for the opportunity before the obstacle. I run projects pragmatically, without losing sight of the people involved or the value of long-term partnerships.

I like leading projects, but I don't need to be the overall project manager. I'm just as comfortable coordinating a sub-project, as long as I understand the wider goals and context.

  • Chair meetings
  • Structure projects
  • Facilitate workshops and give presentations
